The sauna originates from Finland. Especially the smoke sauna is a folk tradition and part of the Finnish cultural heritage. A sauna bath is relaxing and provides a feeling of well-being.
The warmth of the smoke sauna is something special.
After the sauna we can sit around the campfire in our kota (a lappish style of teepee made out of wood). Would you like to taste glow-fried salmon, grill sausages or bake pancakes?
Our smoke sauna situates on the western bank of the lake Viemenjärvi, opposite our Guesthouse Pihlajapuu. It is about 7 km far away from the guesthouse by car. By boat or canoe only about 1 km. In winter You can also ski or snowshoe across the frozen lake.
