We, here in North Karelia, live far away from the luxurious city life. That’s why you don’t need to pack your rucksack or luggage with very fine clothes and things. In fact when you pack, the slogan is; the more casual outfit, the nicer holiday!
Actually everything, except your personal outfit and things (for example medicines), is included in our tours. We have it all; skis, ski shoes, snowshoes, linen, towels, etc.
Our guesthouse is very warm though outside it can be quite cold. We have 3 wooden heated ovens and a sauna in the house. There is also a central electrical heating in the house. We also have a fireplace outside the house. In winter it is cold outside but we can ski even though it is - 20 degrees Celcius. If it is colder (-30 degrees Celcius) we sit in the living room and read books or play something together. What you shoud take with you:
