Packing list for our tours
Summer tours
We, here in North Karelia, live far away from the luxurious city life. That’s why you don’t need to pack your rucksack or luggage with very fine clothes and things. In fact when you pack the slogan is; the more casual outfit, the nicer holiday!
Actually everything, except your personal outfit and things (for example medicines and sun glasses), is included in our tours. We have it all; bikes (with 7 gears), bike packs, canoes, linen, towels, mosquito hats etc.
What you should take with you
- Rain clothes, and when it is warm and sunny you can wear only T-shirt and shorts. Do not forget to take you swimming suit with you ( in the sauna you don’t need any but swimming in public beaches you should have one).

Something warm, something windproof and casual so that you can pick up blue berries and sit on a rock. The natives wear for example jogging suits or jeans.

A sweater for cold days, a wind coat,some T-shirts etc.

Rubber boots are sometimes good when you walk in the forests but you can manage with comfortable jogging shoes.

Don’t buy anything new for the holiday or for Finland. In Nurmes there is a good shop of outdoor clothes if you need something new. They often have very reasonable prices.

Take you own rucksack and a bottle for water with you for our daily tours.
We have mosquito hats and toxin against Finnish mosquitos.
You can always use our washing machine!
