Cycling and canoeing in North Karelia

This round tour by bike and canoe starts from the guesthouse Pihlajapuu which is a big wooden house between forests and fields.
We’ll ride a bike through forests to a log cabin, Metsäkämppä. There we will first heat the sauna by the lake. We’ll bike 2 days and then take the canoes and paddle along a slowly streaming river. We will overnight in three different guesthouses and at one cabin.
You can combine this active holiday to a week in one of the guesthouses or in a very comfortable cottage. You can bike and paddle further or just relax and enjoy the Finnish summer and light summer nights. It does not get dark at all…
